I recently tried the Yaktrax, and although they were pretty comfortable,I'm not sure that they are going to work that well for the mixed terrain around West Windsor. I'm concerned that, while good on packed snow and ice, there are usually portions of my runs where I'm on cleared paved paths or roads. Are the stabilicers better for the mix of snow, ice, clear patches?
